How Much Do Movable Floors Cost?

ree

Movable floors are honestly a piece of modern engineering art. Having one in your backyard is the kind of thing you usually see only in dreams! I’m serious. You look at a pool, and a few seconds later the same pool turns into a dance floor, a chill area, or even a basketball court. Now you get what I mean.

So how do you actually get one of these dream machines? Well, it depends on where you’re at. If you already have a pool, your only real option is the cable system, which only needs about 7.5 inches from the top, pretty minimal. But if you’re just starting to plan the pool of your dreams, then the arm system is definitely the way to go. (We’ll leave the differences for another blog — trust me, there’s a lot to say.)

Now the big question: the price, It all comes down to your pool’s square footage. Bigger pools cost more overall, of course, but the price per square foot actually goes down as the pool gets larger. So if you’re thinking of a hidden jacuzzi, don’t expect it to be half the price — smaller projects are actually more expensive per sqft.

Example:

A) pool that’s 10 ft x 26 ft, including installation, comes out to around $110,000.

B) pool that’s 20 ft x 50 ft, including installation, comes out to around $400,000.
